Glass Fibre Rope
FGR Series of ropes can be manufactured either by encasing continuous glass fibres in a cover of open braided glass fibre yarn (FGRS) or by braiding together three or more yarns (FGRB). These ropes are ideally suited to applications where temperatures are high and pressure is low.
FGR Series glass fire ropes, are suited for dry temperatures up to 550°C continuous.
Available Sizes: 5,6,9,12,16,19,22,25,32,40 & 50mm – Length: 30 & 50mtr rolls (depending on size)
Applications include:
Pipe Lagging
Caulking for door seals
Combustion wood heaters
Jointing for irregular surfaces
Coating / Finishes available:
High Temperature Silicone
Graphite
S/S mesh.

Glass Fibre Woven Tape
Plain & Ladder
FGT Series of woven plain & ladder tapes, use the same specially developed fibres as the ropes & braids allowing temperatures up to 550°C. These fibres resist, most oils, chemicals & solvents & will not rot.
Ladder Tape has an open centre which allows flange bolts to be pushed through which eliminates pre punching of holes.
Available Sizes: 25,40,50,75 & 100mm – Available Thickness: 1.5,3 & 6mm – Length: 10,15 & 30mtr rolls
Applications include:
Pipe Lagging
Door seals
Hot air ducting
Seal for irregular surfaces

Glass Fibre Needle Mat – Specials page for pricing
Glass fibre needle mat or also known as needle felt, is 100% fibreglass matting that is mechanically bonded (needled) to form a blanket insulation material.
Needle Mat offers uniform thickness and density, high temperature performance up to 650 deg,C and contains no binders.
Needle Mat has excellent thermal conductivity at elevated temperatures, is non toxic, and has exceptional sound absorption properties.
Available: 6mm thick x 1000mm wide x 20mtr
FOIL FACING AVAILABLE
12mm thick x 1520mm wide x 22.8mtr
25mm thick x 1520mmwide x 13.7mtr
Cut lengths and shapes available upon request
Applications:
Needle Mat is used in the construction of removable insulation pads, stress relieving blankets, and many other applications where high temperature protection and flexibility are required.
Glass Fibre Sectional Pipe Insulation (SPI)
Glasswool Sectional Pipe Insulation (SPI) is manufactured by spinning molten glass, containing up to 80% recycled content, into fine wool like fibres. These are bonded together using a thermosetting resin and molded into pipe sections of varying diameters and thicknesses. Standard SPI diameters are manufactured to fit over standard piping sections and supplied 1000mm lengths.
Available size: Nominal bore from 12.7 to 219mm – Thickness 25,38,50 (other thicknesses available)
Applications: Glasswool SPI is used in both commercial and industrial applications for the insulation of piping for heavy industrial plants, building services, heating and cooling water piping etc.
Finishes available: Plain & Foil
